Our Mission
Nearly 40% of college students don't complete their degree (NCES, 2023). They leave because they feel disconnected, overwhelmed by academics, stressed about finances, or unsupported. These challenges don't just affect first-year students — they impact learners at every stage of their journey.
Traditional retention efforts often miss the mark because they don't engage students on their terms. What students need is a compelling, incentivized experience that meets them where they are and keeps them connected to their institution and their goals.
CheckIn exists to change that. We've built a platform that is student driven, powered by gamification, and rooted in research — giving institutions the tools to keep students engaged, motivated, and on track to graduate.
